Having graduated from the Manchester School of Art with the award winning Carbon emission sensing ink PdCl2, Lauren went on to study printed textiles at the Royal College of Art London; developing further multi-sensory chromic colour-change inks. Portrayed to the world through provoking pieces, magic materials and extraordinary experiences. Welcomed amongst the materials industry form aeronautics to couture under the name PHNX, Lauren will re- launch this coming fashion week as T H E U N S E E N.

Aptly based in the Vaults below Somerset House; T H E U N S E E N consists of varied talent, from anatomists, engineers, chemists and cutters all with one synced vision - that knowledge creates Magick.

Lead by Material Alchemist Lauren Bowker T H E U N S E E N is a House and setting that is well informed, well educated, inventive and sensitive to both Technology and Design.

For the London Fashion week 15/02/14, T H E  U N S E E N has made a collection named Air. They have developed a form of wind reactive ink that changes colour upon contact with the air around us. Intended to reveal the otherwise unseen turbulence surrounding the human as it goes about its environment.

MATERIAL : Porcelaine

Porcelaine is a thin, translucent ceramic produced from kaolin by firing at over 1200 C°.

If the British use the term China or Bone china to designate respectively the hard porcelain and the tender one earliest widespread in the UK, this is called ceramic porcellana by the Italians bring back from China in the fifteenth century. It is named in reference to the appearance of shells Cypraea like they believed the extracted.

It is mainly used in tableware.

The porcelaine is characterized by its smoothness and transparency after cooking.

With the modernity, porcelaine has extent its creation domain. Now it is possible to find porcelaine light for example.

Art porcelaine has followed the different artistic movement like Art Nouveau. So it could be considerated as an art.

Marina Abramovic is a Servian artist who studies and pushes the boundaries of physical and mental potencial through her performance. The main idea of the artist through her own word is "This performance (The House with the Ocean View) comes from my desire to see if it is possible to use simple daily discipline, rules and restrictions to purify myself. Can I change my energy field of the audience and the space"
